Slots: 2
Hours per week: 4
Completion within: 9 months

For students inrolled in:
Informatics B.Ed., Informatics B.Sc., Mathematics-Infomatics B.Sc., Physics B.Sc.,

Discription
Raytracing is a technique used in computer graphics to visualize 3D scenes. In this project, students can experiment with an existing code base using raytracing to accelerate GPU database indexing.

Role of the students
Your task is to work with the research group to discover opportunities for further speed up.

Qualifications
Previous knowledge of programming languages and GPUs is required.
